My family had an excellent time! Our server Syd was wonderful and fun. Definitely a good stop for some brunch. :)
MoreHi. Pleasantly surprised. Great biscuits and gravy. Super friendly and courteous service from all employees. Other customers were also friendly. Inclusion, always a great feeling. Thnx Sedro Woolley.
MoreWe had a really good breakfast. Friendly staff
Great food and lovely service. Be sure to try their amazing cinnamon rolls!
The food is entirely home made and fresh. Delicious is an understatement for how good the food is. Service was fast and pleasant. By far the best breakfast place I've been to.
MoreYou won't beat Joy's for Breakfast in Sedro Wooley. But be prepared wait some. Everyone else knows it's a great place.
MoreGreat food, great service! Been coming here with my family and friends for years. Amanda is a awesome addition to the crew! Thanks Joy's.
MoreIt was super busy, so we sat at the counter. The Staff was flying around doing a great job! Very Friendly environment. Food was Amazing! Will be back again soon! Highly recommended!
MoreBest food and service with great prices on food. Always loved dining here.
My sister and I stopped in Joy's Sedro Woolley Bakery for pastries and coffee on our way to Riverfront Park. What a cute restaurant! It's very roomy on the inside and nice and light. The pastries we got were very good - there was a braided caramel apple thing that looked pretty and was very tasty. The best thing we got was the raspberry stick. The coffee was good too. We didn't sit down and order anything off the menu but we definitely want to come back the next time we're in Sedro!
MoreNever even got to even order the service was so poor.
Couldnt find much info or a menu online wasted alot of time searching then went to find out yall closed
MoreKinda of a small town place, but the food quantity and quality are spot on, delicious I loved the chicken fried steak will be coming back for sure!
MoreGreat food great prices wonderful service
Great food, service, and portions
My lady and I found this restaurant via Internet review, and we are very pleased. The food was very good and plenty of it! I have a big hand, yet the coconut pancakes dwarfed it. The service was a little slow, but not by much... Besides, it was busy. The tables were full the whole time, but there wasn't a line. I had a veggie omelet with salsa and sour cream. (Recommend!) She had Swiss and mushroom burger. Each meal big enough to feed two with smaller appetites. Come grab a bite!
MoreThe reubens here are soooooooo good
the coconut cake is a most have!
Today someone paid for our meal. They noticed Jess was sick from her chemo. The staff refused to tell us who. Only that it was another customer. It hurts not to say thanks but you really made our day. Thanks so so much. I hope this reaches them. See you again! Great service for how busy it was. Very typical to be busy there. Parking in the front or the back. Coconut pancakes are the best! Sausage links were cooked good but they were not good texture.
MoreGreat place. Amazing food. Friendly staff. A local favorite.
Good breakfast burrito if you're looking for one
Very good breakfast meal, and I can't remember meeting a nicer and more welcoming waitress staff. The prices are quite reasonable in relation to the generous food portions......overall, an A+ rating. LOVE this place and its people.
MoreBig portions, great food,good atmosphere
WARNING do not place a order over phone they give you half or a quarter of the food you would eat inside but there food tase great!
MoreThis is a hometown bakery at its best! Joy’s has been in Sedro-Woolley for as long as I can remember so maybe some of the decore could use some updating, or maybe that is some of it’s charm. You decide. It is always packed. And you always know the people inside. They have cinnamon rolls the size of a plate that I would advise you to share (or save some for later) but are delicious. And a case (that they cannot keep full) of cookies just as big. You will not be disappointed with anything you order for breakfast or lunch! It is just too bad they are not open for dinner.
MoreBreakfast at Joy's is just that, a great joy. Their morning cooks really know their way around the griddle. I love hash browns and they get them perfect each time. Coconut pancakes rock.
MoreLove there omelets because my son usually eats allot so its hard to fill him up when we go out but here he can eat his fill so he loves it here.
MoreThe food is awesome! The coconut cake are unexpectedly delicious! Atmosphere can be a little less and temperatures is kinda cold, so bundle up, turn your hearing aids down and go eat some deliciousness!
MoreIf you're local and were a fan of the iron skillet you have a new home. The food is fresh and portion size is large. They have lots of fresh baked goods and desserts. The Cinnamon rolls are to die for. I personally liked the omelet.
MoreBreakfast and food delivered to the table were top shelf. I eyed the baked goods case with great expectation. My hopes were dashed after seeing a big black housefly trapped inside the case; sampling all of the goodies made for humans. Without desire for food poisoning I declined ordering anything else. If I were the manager of say a bakery I might wanna check the baked goods display, that every customer has to walk by, to the length that the display doesn't include a known disease carrier.
MoreNot speaking for everyone at this establishment but the waitress I encountered was verbally rude and insulting. I was picking up a DoorDash order and not only did she say right in front of me to another staff member that they have more important things to do then worry about my order (as if it has less priority then a walk in) she was rude about it when I paid and left. They agree to have orders completed within and a designated time frame and in my experience they have been 10-15 minutes late every time and don't care. I will never accept a order from this place again unless they get with the program and instruct their staff to abide by the merchant core responsibilities. If you can't follow simple procedure and or don't care then get off the DoorDash merchant platform.
MoreAlways good food (Lance, you're awesome 😊) and the waitresses are always friendly and welcoming!! You may have to wait for a table during busy times but those are usually the best places to go!!
MoreThese guys serve up home cooked comfort food. Don't be in a rush, take your time and enjoy! Make sure to take home some yummies from the bakery, too. Their hours are breakfast and lunch...open until 2pm.
MoreFantastic pastrami sandwich and killer cookies and pastries. Great service with local friendly atmosphere.
MoreTheir chicken fried steak is absolutely amazing!! The service is impeccable sometimes it takes a while to get seated as they are so popular but it is so worth the wait.
MoreIf I could afford it I'd eat here daily, love the atmosphere and the waiter staff make it worth your money although not costly very friendly service, and I haven't even eaten yet so.....
MoreWonderful Breakfast. Biscuits & Gravy excellent and my test for a great breakfast place. Fresh cinnamon rolls, perfect.
MoreAmazing food and wonderful service. Sidney was a wonderful waitress.
What a wonderful quaint place this is!! Feels like I've gone back 50 years and in a good way. The town was quaint with the old fashioned downtown, parking right in front. The restaurant was decorated nicely and very homey feel. The pastries in the display case were HUGE.We stopped here on our way to North Cascades National Park for breakfast. We had the classic American breakfasts - an order of oatmeal, and order of eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast. They were all very delicious and exactly as you'd expect a traditional American breakfast. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about this place or these dishes. They stuck to the old American tradition.
MoreDefinitely more a restaurant in that it's more a place that you sit and have a hot meal instead of just coming in to grab a single baked good, but the bakery does have a dedicated display case. I just wish the massive cinnamon bun had more cinnamon taste and was a bit less massive. I'm still eating it... - "Mimi's Cake Tour"
MoreI have only eaten breakfast here, but for a great breakfast I highly recommend it. Have had great breakfasts here several dozen times over the years never disappointed.
MoreNice local place Good staff good food
Great small town feel. The food is always good. Favorite things: The Bakery Combo for breakfast, also the Coconut Pancake. And the Turkey Bacon Pesto sandwich with French fries and their home made tarter sauce.
MoreLove this place, great spot to get good breakfast!
You can't beat Joy's for breakfast. Huge portions of home cooked goodness. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe their fresh baked goods from toast to English muffins and cinnamon rolls... it's just sublime. And I haven't even mentioned their homemade jam yet. Staff is always friendly and personable and their prices are amazing, considering the big portions they dole out. I had a bacon, mushroom and cheese omelette this morning that could have easily fed two. Now I've got breakfast for in the morning with my leftovers. Ive been eating there for the past 20ish years and they have remained consistently awesome. Can't recommend it enough.
MoreCame into a nice restaurant downtown Sedro-Woolley. I have to say my first impression wasn't that great. Sat on a really sticky table, and flies everywhere. Really nice server took care of us and was pleasant, Food was amazing order a steak and it was perfectly seasoned, a little overcooked but the wait was worth it for that steak, Hash brown were bland but a little salt and pepper fixed the issue. I love the fact that their coffee is served on big coffee mugs which i greatly appreciate it. Pancakes were Huge and really good. Will be back regardless of the small hygienic issues i encountered as i believe it must of been a busy day.
MoreAbsolutely LOVE Joy's Bakery!! We eat at Joy's anytime we get to Sedro Woolley! Best place to eat breakfast in town!!
MoreGood food and great staff.
Extremely friendly, great choice for 'all day breakfast'. Home-baked bread, very generous portions, will definitely come back.
MoreBest place in Skagit to get breakfast hands down!
